I just received a text for our arrival time of 11:30 am however that was a old time, we are now arriving at 7:30 am. I had called and updated Magical Express with the new flight number and time several weeks ago. The text that came today said to call if there’s a update to arrival time, but it’s a 3 hour hold..I tried to also do it online but didn’t see a place to update. Should I call back and wait on hold or is it ok to not worry about it and just go to front desk when we arrive?

I assume you did online check-in? That text sounds like one you get with online check-in. Just go in MDE, scroll down to you hotel reservation, I think the button says “Update Check-In Details” or something like that. One of the options is your arrival time.

Is that 3-hour hold time on Disney's general phone number or the Magical Express phone number: 866-599-0951? I'm surprised if the Magical Express phone number has that long a hold time. I think that if you simply show up at the Magical Express bus area at the airport early, even hours early, they'll just put you on the next bus regardless. But then, I've never been in your situation and haven't tried it.

Edit: I read your question as pertaining to whether you can get Magical Express early. It seems others feel your concern is showing up at the hotel early.

I would just go to the front desk when you arrive. I have several friends that used to be Front Desk CMs and if you arrive early and have plans to stay at the hotel, essentially waiting for your room (aka you don't have park reservations) the back of the house doesn't like you to sit around too long. Granted a lot of that has changed in the past years but the sentiment is still the same. The time you list isn't really that big of a deal but I would definitely go to the front desk.
