Received a memory maker card--I thought it was all connected to the wristbands

I received one yesterday too, I was a bit surprised that Disney went to the trouble of sending it to me in Australia via UPS at their expense, yet they won't do the same with the Magicbands. I assumed it was going to be all waiting for me with the magic bands when I Check-in to my resort in May

You don't need the card at all. I think they still send the card because not everyone is using Magic Bands (offsite guests don't get them automatically..)

Correct.. You dont need the card because you band will work just like the card and you dont even have to scan your band at the picture windows for ride photos.... You can take the card just in case AND/OR if you have others coming with you who dont have bands can use the card (if you want to share MM with them)
