I highly doubt this is true but I need others to back me up. Now if it is true, it would be cool.

I searched the forums and the web with no luck so this also feeds my suspicions.

Ok--so here's the rumor: Family member sent me an address (PO Box) that you have a child send a letter to favorite Disney character and then your child will receive a FREE 8x10 autographed picture.

DH thinks it must be true bc address is in LBV and has WDW in address. I said that didn't mean much.

BTW, the family member is of the school "if it's on the internet, it must be true"

Never heard of it, it seems like if it were true it would be so popular that it would not last long. Not long as a free service at least.

1) True.
2) But it is snailmail, not email.

Its true. Years ago it was a 8 X 10 Pic but when the kids did it this year it was a signed postcard. My nieces and nephews have been doing this for 10 years now. It take about 2 months to get your reply via snail mail.

It is true - we sent an extra wedding invitation to see what we would get back, and we received a congratulatory certificate signed by Cinderella and Prince Charming, it was cute.

After our stay at Pop in May,we got a thick cardboard oversized postcard of all the main characters, signed by each of them on their picture, and the card says something like Hope You Enjoyed Your Visit, See You Next Time!

We thought it was really cute, and I'm sure if we had kids they would have LOVED to get mail from Mickey and friends. I am going to tell my 6 year old niece about the address, she would LOVE to write to her favourite characters.
