Rec'd my Safari Club Saturday!

I joined last month at a RFC by paying $15 (one time membership fee). This is the benefits I rec'd:
One $10 New Member Certificate
This certificate does have an issue AND an expiration date. (The coupon is good for only 4 months.) And it is non-transferrable. It has my member number printed on the certificate.
Other perks:
* 10% off all meals, except alcohol, tax, gratuity (Up to me and three guests) OR a free Chef's appetizer of the day, with the purchase of an adult entree. (One appetizer per visit.)
* 10% off RFC retail merchandise at the RFC villages
* Anniversary "thank you" special offer
* Members only newsletter
* Priority Seating and Guaranteed Reservations. Members only seating 7 days a week, for parties of six or less. Guaranteed ressies with at least 24 hours notice. PS on a walk-in basis gives you a table ASAP before non-members.
* The more you use your card, the more benefits you are entitled to.
* Sarafir Club card good at Cadillac Authentic Mexican Food, Joe's Crab Shack, RFC, Landry's, The Crab House, Willie G's.

I signed up a couple of weeks ago (had to call Landry's corporate offices since no RFC's near me) and am waiting for my card. We are going to Niagara Falls in June, WDW in November and we usually go to Myrtle Beach every summer (Joe's Crab Shack, etc.) and am hoping to use it frequently. I love the PS option and for me (DH doesn't like to wait) is well worth the $15.

I think I got the corporate headquarters phone # by calling the closest RFC and they gave me the #. You can call Patricia Owens, Safari Club Coordinator, at 1-800-552-6379. You could also just send a $15 check or money order made out of Landry's Restaurants, Inc. and send it to her attention at:

She told me it is actually quicker to send it to her than filling out the form at the restaurant and mailing it in. I received my temporary card in about two weeks. I didn't receive any of the gc or coupons yet, since I think they come directly from the company that processes all the applications (they are located in another state). I have only used mine at my local RFC but the card has more than paid for itself. I received 10 with the temp and then 10 with the permanent card, another 5 for on my birthday and anniversary. Money aside, I went during April school vacation week and while everyone was being told 55 minute wait, we were escorted directly to a table. I am hoping to try it out in Florida in December.
