Reccomendations for Breakfast sans Characters

Does anyone have any suggestions for a non-character breakfast? The only caveat is that they must have Mickey waffles. I know they usually have them at all the resort CS restaurants but we're in Kidani so we have to travel anyway since the Mara is at Jambo. Buffet's preferred with a decent Disney price tag

I didn't see waffles let alone Mickey waffles on the menu. It's seriously the highlight of my entire trip. Can anyone confirm if Boma has them?

I'm 99% sure I've had waffles there but not positive they were Mickeys....you'll forget about Mickey waffles once you see all the other great things on the buffet!

I'll check my pics & see if any have waffles in them!

Grand Floridian Cafe was our favorite non-character breakfast.

One last tidbit that makes me hesitant --- I know I am of the minority in this sentiment --- Boma dinner was completely unpalatable for me last trip. The smells, the food; none of it worked for me. In my real (non Disney life) I enjoy a lot of variety of cuisines so it was sort of surprising. I eat sushi and Thai food but African, middle eastern, and Indian all make my stomach want to evict itself.

Not to hijack thread, but I've heard great things about Captain's Grille breakfast at YC and plan to try it in April. But, do they have Mickey waffles???

Definitely at CG - and we LOVE the buffet there! Here is a pic of one part of it, the Mickey waffles are all the way to the left.

Captain's Grille. Best breakfast buffet on Disney. And it's pretty much undiscovered -- so no big crowds and the price is affordable (by Disney standards anyway)

Captains Grille @ YC has a great non character breakfast buffet or breakfast from menu. Breakfast buffet has Mickey waffles. We've eaten there may times, it's nice & quiet!
