Reccomend Movies!

Post some movies new or old you'd recommend!

I'll start. Old Disney Live-Action Movies (THESE ARE ALL AMAZING. IF YOU ARE A DISNEY FAN, YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM ):

• In Search of the Castaways
• The Ugly Dachshund
• Follow Me, Boys!
• The Happiest Millionaire
• The Absent Minded Professor
• 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
• Pollyanna
• Darby O'Gill and The Little People

Oh, and I watched One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest last night.. everyone should see that! One of the best movies I've ever seen.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, though it's rated R and with good reason (lots of language and some nudity). It's a fantastic movie, just for an older audience.

Ned Kelly. It's the story of Australia's Jesse James pretty much. Plus, Orlando Bloom and Heath Ledger being awesome.

Gattaca. A look at what could happen if genetic selection was ever possible. What if you could manipulate your child's genetics before they were born? What would the world be like? It's AMAZING.

Empire Records. Just... *love*.

Ummm...that's really all I've got right now. Most of my other favourites, I'm sure people have seen!

I got the DVD for Christmas and watched it 3 times over break.

Um, but it's really not true to the book. If anything, at all.

You have to appreciate it as a movie on its own, and not a perversion of the book.

I hated Gattaca.

Um, some movies that I like include Outbreak and 28 Weeks Later.

I second this wholeheartedly. I fell in love with that movie in a way that hasn't been seen since quite possibly the first time I read Harry Potter.

The Soloist is really good. Rather depressing, but really good.

I LOVED that one! My mom and I had a "Classic Disney" summer. We only rented old Disney films. It was really cool because we got them from the library, but we never looked beforehand, so it was always a surprise. If they didn't have one, oh well; if they did, Woo-Hoo! The spontinaity alone was fun!

KKBB is just so awesome. I adore it and can watch it again and again without fail. I'm glad to see somebody else who enjoys it!

I've another recommendation, too!

If you speak French (or don't mind watching a movie with the subtitles on) both "Bon Voyage" and "L'Enfant" are really great French films. "Bon Voyage" is a WWII movie about a writer in France during the Vichy regime/Nazi rule. "L'Enfant" is a really gripping story about a young couple struggling to get by with their newborn child.

I am a big big movie buff, and I went from working @ a movie theatre to working @ a store that sells CDs & DVDs so I've seen a ton of movies. I'm sure I'll think of more and post them!
