I need to have my daughters transmision fixed. Some say to have a rebuilt one put in and others say to have yours rebuilt?
We have finally found a good reputable place that will rebuild the one she has.
I'm thinking if you find a good experienced person to rebuild then that is the way to go. If you put a rebuilt one in who knows how well it was put together?
Opinions please, thanks

I had a rebuilt one put in back in Sept. One year warranty pretty standard I guess. I really don't think it makes much difference but you need to find a place that ONLY does transmissions. Just my opinion!

The place that was recommended does only transmissions. I agree with that, I figure they should be a pro at it if that is all they do. (hopefully) :p

I hear lots of horror stories about some of the transmission shops we have hear, scares me!
