Can I book while onboard for someone who is not? In otherwords, a friend wants to go on a cruise next year and asks me to book them while I am onboard so that they can get the discounts. Not a relative, just a friend.

I believe you can do it if you're booking the same cruise (ie you are booking a room for yourself), but if you're just trying to book for someone else and don't intend on going, I don't know if that can be done. If you don't intend on going, I'd have your friend prepared that you might not be able to get them the discounts.
