Hi, just thought I'd pass on some information.

I booked last Feb for 2 weeks for 4 people through Virgin Holidays (Thomson), for CBR, with Disney and Flexiticket Plus.

I have just cancelled my holiday and rebooked direct with Virgin Atlantic and Disney direct and saved over a grand. Early booking is not always the cheapest option as we were always lead to believe. Thanks to Disney's current offers which the travel agent couldn't match.

So now I have the same Holiday, with a King Room (originally a double), and same flights.

Can't wait to go with my extra spending money:thumbsup2

Well done you :thumbsup2 .It's true,it does'nt always pay to book early.Although in my case it did,we booked Dec 07 for Apr 09 and prices now(and have been)over £600 dearer.Enjoy spending the extra money.x.

The days of guaranteed savings for early booking have gone. Sometimes its now a waiting game for the best offer and book before they rise again.

We have 16 nights at OKW booked with Free DDP & 21 day tickets for 3 of us this August.
Total paid £2,164.00. Everytime I check the price its up again, Price now £4,034.52. UP £1,870.52

I did the same recently - canceled flights with VH and booked with VA and saved £800 on PE flights.:thumbsup2
