Thanks for the info! I sent the link to my husband. It sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I just wish it were for the black one. The silver one just looks like it would show scratches easily.

For $150 off, I might be able to get over that pretty quickly though.

I pricematched at best buy and when then found out they did no thave a black one. So I got the silver and am very glad. I have two all black lenses and they are 20-30 degrees F hotter (in the sun) than the silver body. Often they are above 100 degrees to the touch.

Heat also adds noise to the sensor results. So make your decision on looks or the real reason you are buying a DSLR setup.

That's GREAT to know!!! We got the silver one because the black was at least $50 more than the silver!!! Just NOT worth it ... I don't think mine looks "like a toy" at all!! LOVIN' it!!! Can't wait to really use it in 13 days ...
