Rebate Question - Beauty & Beast DVD???

I have a quick question, but I'm not sure if anyone will know the answer, but it's worth a shot .

I pre-ordered the Beauty & the Beast DVD so my receipt is dated in September.

I wanted to do the $5 Rebate through Campbell's and the $5 Rebate through Western Bagel, but the forms state "Receipt for DVD dated 10/5/10-end of year".

Will my rebates be rejected because I pre-ordered the movie???

Did you get a new receipt when you picked the movie up?? Even if you paid it in full, they still have to ring up a new transaction to show the merchandise has been moved out of the store, and you have used your credit.

I don't think it matters how much was paid when walking out the door. Or else I'll only be able to get 2.99 back, as that's the price I paid out the door.

No because I ordered it from Disney Movie Club. So the packing slip/receipt is dated the day it shipped (9/23/10).

I would send it in anyways. They might not even pay attention to the date. On the other hand, the movie only came out on the 5th, so it's not like you got some special early edition.
