Need to convince spouse that it is time to return! Last visit in 2003 :cool1:

Can we get a list going? New rides, food, etc???

Here are some of the New Rides/Attractions

Magic Kingdom
Stitch's Great Escape - Replacing Alien Encounter
Mickey's Philharmagic

EPCOT
Mission Space
Soarin'

MGM
Stunt Show (I can never remember the name!)

Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest

I don't think Crush was in Epcot yet when you were there last either. And there's the Pirates makeover as well!

OMGoodness....the reasons are TOO numerous to name! I always find a reason to come back after even a few months because there is no way to do everything there is to possibly do at WDW in one trip. Its always fun to save some things for next time! Think of some things that you two did not egt to do last time..maybe a fireworks show like Wishes..or Illuminations, or some of the countries in EPCOT. Or a ride at MK. Thinks of those, and then add in all of the new happenings....Good Luck! I'm sure he will be convinced! Have you ordered a Vacation Plannning DVD? That is sure to get him in the spirit!!

You should try to convince him to plan a trip for this year so that you can take part in the Happiest Celebration on Earth festivities...you wouldn't want to miss out on the castle being so done up. Other than the rides, an incentive to stay on Disney property is the dining plan (this wasn't around last time you were there), the plan makes Disney interesting on a different level because you can try so many great restaurants at a flat rate. We did the dining plan last year and it made our stay incredible. Let him know how important is to you that you visit the world every once in a while. So far I've only go once a year and the wait kills me during my "non disney" time, so I can only imagine how much you would like to make this trip happen. Good luck and I hope he sees the light :teeth: pixiedust: pixiedust:

We nedd no reason to return, anytime. Irregardless of new attractions or celebrations, its the complete total relaxing, enjoyable vacation experience and destination on this planet for us. We definetely return every year, and some times twice and three times in a year. We have gone other places a few years back, but compared resort, price and things to do, WDW wins hands down. Myrtle Beach ocean resorts cost about the same as a Disney resort but all you have is a hotel and ocean, thats boring after 2 days, then its in the car, driving up and down the strand looking for things to do and them things cost ya money. At Disney, you do not need a car for your whole stay. Everything is included, transportation, 2 water parks, 4 themed parks, tons of exotic dining, themed resorts and pools, night life and clubs, just everything you can imagine, rolled up into one big place, secluded and priced to have it all your way.

Really no reason not to return as many or often of times as you can. We make up reasons and excuses to go back and we been doing it since our first trip, in 1977. Back then, even with ony the one park then 2 it had what we wanted in a vacation destination and just only got better and better every year, even though our 2 kids have grown up, and with Disney, we're in our 50's, and continue to go back more now then before. Join the fanatics and Disney lovers and become a convert, its magical.

3 years????!!!! I was there 2 months ago and can't wait to go back. There's this thing called a "job" that won't let me....

:lmao:

What time of year did you go last time? The parks have lots of special things related to diffferent times of year and holidays. Maybe he would enjoy the food and wine festival in the fall, or the garden show in the spring? We have been twice at Christmas, it is gorgeous, and once for Halloween. Mention all the things you did not have time to do. Did you get to the water parks? Would he enjoy golfing or some of the water sports?? We go about every 12 to 18 months and I feel we have yet to see and do it all! I think getting the planning DVD and reading some books is a great idea! Good luck ;)

Because it is the most magical place on earth! Where else can adults go and act like kids and have it considered normal?

You could always do what I when my wife doesn't wanna go - Go by yourself!

you could tell him that Cinderella called. She lost her shoe and needs a nice man to help her find it. :rolleyes1 I know my hubby would be happy to help a princess in need. (and you'd have to go of course because sometimes men have "navigational difficulties"
Good luck!! pixiedust: pixiedust:

We go to WDW every year. In fact since Nov 2004 I've been 3 times and getting ready to go again in July.

We always find something new to do and we enjoy the stuff we have already done.

Some of my favorite new things are

Soarin at EPCOT
Mickey's Philharmagic at MK
Stunt show at MGM

Soon to be - Expedition Everest at AK

Trying new restaurants is fun too. We did the Rose & Crown for the first time last year and loved it so much we did it twice that same vacation.

In my house this works.

"Because I want to go, that's why. Now pack your bags and SMILE!"

:thumbsup2

I don't know when you're thinking of going, but another point is seeing Cinderella Castle all decked out in its 50th Anniversary finery.
