staying at the HRGC and would like some recommendations for nearby restaurants serving non character breakfasts.

Moving to Orlando Hotels and Attractions, as it's off Disney property.

you are a little more than a block away from several restaurants - leaving just turn right - then turn left or right.

now walking would not do this - only if you are driving. very, very busy streets

think left there IHOP and Shoney's - right there is a Golden coral, a fish place and a few others.
