One reason to buy into WDW is the same as the reason people join a health club. Once you've paid you want to use it to get your money's worth! And then, as Dr. Suess would say, " Oh, the places you will go!"
In England we stayed at the Royal Garden. In Michigan at the Grand Hotel. In New York at the Plaza. Would I have paid cash money to stay in these places? Nope! I'm way too cheap.

How did you like the Grand Hotel. We hope that by our 30th anniversary (in 9 years) we are ready for a change and want to try going there (if we can stand not going to WDW that year).

DH seems to think we will want to go other places on our points when we are older. I think I will want to go to WDW every year ;) , but we will see! I suppose when the kids grow up we may want to go 'beyond Disney' and try some other places.

I guess we will have to see where these 150 points take us!

Seems like you are doing a great job with 150 points. I started out with 230 in 1992 and just bought another 50 that brought me up to 500. I would suggest that you buy a few points whenever you get a letter saying that the price of points is going to go up soon. My other suggestion is BORROW.!

The Grand Hotel is wonderful. This hotel treated us very specially nice because we were from DVC; more so than any other hotel we have traded for. We were given one of the largest, most spectacular rooms with a breathtaking view and Louis XIIII furniture! Not to be missed.
