REAS - payment ??

We are cruising on Nov 26, 7-night Eastern. If I add the REAS package to my reservation (through DU), will the cost of the package be added to my balance due or will I need to pay for it when I book?

we added REAS to our cruise -- it showed on the inital confirmation but our deposit amount was the same. So I guess it's payed with the final payment

I added the REAS on about 4 months before our sail date, and we paid it with the final payment 60 days out.
