Just wanted to see if anyone here's experienced this before:
I purchased the REAS package for the 10-night holiday cruise in December. I did this directly with DCL about a week ago and I spoke with Debbie directly to do all my ressies for Palo and Spa. As expected, she was extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with. She even put in our request for dining rotation and prefence to get a table for 4 (there are 4 in my family). Total charged to my cc was $299.
Everything seemed set until I noticed on my cc statement that I had two credits from DCL in the amounts of $100 and $199. The only thing I could think of is that DCL refunded my $299 REAS charge. I got worried so I called DCL to verify that my REAS ressies were still OK. To my dismay, the rep told me that I no longer had the REAS package on my account !!!
I asked for an explanation so she put me on hold for while and came back to tell me that Debbie will have to call me back. According to the rep, it was Debbie (or her dept) that cancelled my REAS ??? I didn't want to wait so I asked to be connected to her immediately to straighten this out. Turns out Debbie is out for this whole week and will not be back until Monday so I left a message on her voice mail.
Hopefully I will get things straight on Monday when I speak with Debbie directly. I can't believe they would just cancel my REAS without any reason whatsoever. I had all the times set and everything was perfect. I really hope that all these ressies were not cancelled because if I have to rebook, I'm afraid the times we wanted may not be available.
