Every year I end up completely rearranging my furniture so accommodate our Christmas tree. Somehow it seems I put it in a different spot each year.

Do you have a designated "tree spot" or do you move yours around too?

Just curious. :santa:

I have to put away an end table to put up our larger tree in the living room. I have to do the same to put up the smaller tree in the den.

My house isn't huge.

I have over ten designated spots for certain trees. But we always end up moving furniture for the remaining trees. If not, they just wouldn't all fit. I still have one that I can't put up because of lack of space. Don't know what I am going to do though.

Wow! I'm impressed! I thought I did well to put up three trees. You are the queen of Christmas trees! :worship:

I have to move the end table on my side of the couch. Right now my Diet Coke is sitting on the floor next to me. Just a matter of time before I forget and knock it over!!

But the tree looks beautiful!! :thumbsup2

We have a system: since we extend several tables from our dining room into our living room for Thanksgiving, we move two living room chairs and haul the coffee table out to the garage. Now, to put up the tree, we have moved the sofa away from in front of the window and placed it backing the dining room. I have another tree that I'm going to put just "I Love Lucy" ornaments on & I can't figure out where to put it. I can't imagine putting up so many trees!!

We move furniture. We have a side chair and ottoman that gets moved to our bedroom to make room for the tree.

Ten tree is amazing!! :worship: Where do you store all of your stuff when it isn't Christmas time? I so need better organizing skills!!

One section of the sectional couch is halfway into the dining room!!
But the living room has never looked bigger.

We have a designated spot in our family room for our Christmas tree.

We used to have it on the east side, over by the piano and French doors.

But last year we moved it to the southwest corner and like it better there.

This will be our first Christmas in our house and we've decided to close the glass double doors leading to the dining room, put the sofa there, and put the tree in front of the windows. We also want a small tree in our foyer. We've always lived in small houses and having a tree up was a pain in the neck, so it's nice to have more choices!

I think the dogs are going to be upset because they love running in circles around the house. When we close off those doors, they won't be able to do that.

I have a vaulted celing in the front of my livingroom, so the tree goes there in front of the window. The only thing we have to move is the rocker.

We have a "tree spot." Last year our tree was taller and wider, so we had to remove an end table and push the chair into the end table spot a little. This year, I couldn't find a tree as tall as last year (they were brown and I'm not paying $$ for a brown tree!), so it's not as wide at the bottom. No furniture had to be moved except for pushing the chair closer to the end table.

Our tree gets put into the same spot every year.

Upstairs it's in front of our picture window, and downstairs it's in the corner next to the fireplace.:thumbsup2

We have lived in a different place for the last 3 Christmases, this is the fourth. so they have all been in different places. At my mom's we have had the trees in the same spots for years!!

We only put up one tree, however I have room in my kitchen for one so i might look around for either a small real one or a small artifical one this year for that.

We bought a awesome artifical tree last year so we will use that. It doesn't make sense to me to buy a real, dead tree down here so until we move up north again we will use the fake one!

In past years I have had a tree in every room including bathrooms. That meant moving all the furniture around. This year I bought a 7 1/2 ft. slim tree and only had to move 1 piece of furniture. It is on a rotationg stand and looks beautiful. I put a tree in the guest bedroom and that is it for trees this year. When all the decorations were brought out I kept thinking if I put all this up then it has to be taken down, repacked and stored again. Most went back in storage.

BTW I love the new slim tree. My old one was like 60 or more inches around.

We put our end table in our bedroom and move our recliner to where the end table is, to put the tree up in our front window of the living room.

There was one particular place where DH and his parents would have the tree. For the past 3 years (since we have been renting his parent's place) we had the tree in that spot. Last year I needed a change and DH agreed. We now have the tree between the two living room windows. Have to admit that it looks pretty good there compared to where we used to have it.

ETA: This year we only have to move two pieces of furniture. The love seat and a wicker chair. The chair will be moved to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

You sound just like a friend of mine. Her and her DH moved out of state, but when they lived here, every room had a tree in it. Including the slim trees (and yes that means in the bathroom as well). They were up all year round and each season/holiday she would change the ornaments. Their tree in their home office was known as the "bear" tree and room. DH and I always loved going over to their home - it was just beautiful!
