Someone stole my sneakers at the gym this morning.It was my fault. This is a high priced fancy health club. Ugh. It is my fault, I left them outside of the locker when I jumped in the shower because they were SWEATY. Ewwwww. Didnt want my clothes to smell like sneaks. I though maybe someone picked em up to vacuum or thought they were left behind, but no one turned them in. The front desk told me sneakers have been disappearing often. Wish I knew that, I would have locked em up. Lesson learned, even smeally sweaty used gym sneakers can be stolen.

This is so disgusting. I would have never thought that someone would steal sweaty sneakers. I know it sucks because you realize you were at fault. good luck with finding a new pair of shoes.

Once my sandals were missing when we got out of the pool. I was very upset, but my kids started opening lockers. They were each in one, far apart from each other.

Don't get me started on thieves. I work for a charity and we get things stolen all the time. I mean, stealing from a charity? That's the lowest of the low...

It's really not your fault. It's really pretty sad that if we don't lock our belongings up, they get stolen! Sorry this happened to you!

Same thing happened to my DH at Typhoon Lagoon many years ago. He took his sneakers out of our locker, set them down, turned around to do something else...sneakers went missing.

Turns out it was a case of mistaken identity...someone thought that his sneakers were their sneakers.

Hopefully this was the case for you, too, and your sneakers will be returned to the gym once they realize what they did!

Wanna hear somethign grosser than gross.

My husband wears those Addais flip-flops all the time, then ones with the little clear bumps where you rest your feet. So for Christmas I went to Kohl's to get him a pair since they had the best price. His size had been difficult to find, and just when I am about to give up I see a box marked size 12. I open them up to make sure they were the correct style (the display was unorganized and had the kind without bumps mixed in with the flops with bumps). Good thing I did. I opened them up to find a pair of USED DIRTY FILTHY YELLOWED Addais flip-flops stuffed in the box. It was such a shock, and to see them yellowed, I almosted vomited.

I found a salesperson and handed them the box and told them what was inside. They sighed, and said something about alot of shoe thefts occuring lately......

I did go back a week later and found some in his size. Wasn't about to give up on Kohl's, they had the best price.
