Really? They had to add Fantasmic?

After spending 4 days getting my plans and ADRs in order for my mini vacay in December, they had to add Fantasmic! at HS on 12/04.

Nothing against it, but I've seen it and now avoid Fantasmic days at that park. Of course, I had planned that park that afternoon and dinner at HS that night, and can't switch it to another night I'll be there. You all know, it's not just a matter of finding a substitute, but to rearrange park and other plans.

You have to plan so far out and then they change the game! Arghhh!

LOL, you don't usually here about people complaining when they ADD a Fantasmic show. I certainly understand where you're coming from though as it really does play havoc with attendance.

They added a second show one night in August and we were happy at the time, but after standing in line for 60 minutes in the Florida heat we decided to give up on Fantasmic on future trips. We've probably seen it 10 times at this point and that will just have to do.

What does everyone think December 4 will be like at each park? HS has morning EMH and added 2 fantasmic shows, MK is open Later now until 12 midnight and has parade taping during the day which will add to the evening crowd at MK when taping is done...add in the Pop Warner crowd...

Our plan was to go to HS for morning EMH until 4pm, then to dinner and MK. Now I'm thinking Epcot might be better for the evening.

Well, I like to go spend time at the Osborne lights while Fantasmic is going on, so maybe that would work for you? I think that weekend is going to be pretty busy no matter which park you pick, and since you have your dining and everything all set, I wouldn't panic and try to change it all now.
