Really stupid question about quests...

If it is my quest and I activate it do I have to stay in the room to keep it open, or can I just move around the kingdom and the quest machine will remain on?

you can move around... you can also pick up the quest and have it in inventory and have it still run... move it from room to room etc.

People playing your quests can continue playing even if you get dc or crash, just as long as the timer hasn't run out (if it's a timed quest) and you haven't stopped the quest. Nobody else can start the quest if they cannot get the kiosk, like if nobody was in your room or if the kiosk was in your inventory.
