I feel ridiculous even asking this, but here goes....

My b.c. obviously has my maiden name. My drivers license obviously has my married name.

Is this going to be a problem? Do I need my marriage license to prove I am who I am? I really don't want to shell out for passports, as this will be the only time in the foreseeable decade that we'll be leaving the country.

My BC and DL were just like yours and I had no problem.

I have had no problem with this on 2 Disney cruises, and I guess many, many of us women have the same situation. However, my husband almost did not get to board on July 28th!!! We brought what I thought was a certified birth certificate for all of us, but it turns out his is not a true certified copy! It has a "raised seal", but is from the hospital, not the state off Penn, where he was born. I think they only let us on because this worked fine last August on the Wonder, and they had pity on us, with 3 kids and all!!

Yikes! How on earth were you supposed to know the difference?

I don't think we'll run into that dilemma, as both dh and ds were born at the same hospital, and they *don't* give out birth certificates. I remember being incredulous that after going through nine months of pregnancy and all that labor/pain/etc. that they didn't even give you a complimentary b.c. to prove the kid was yours! ;)
