We have reservations at Le Cellier at 4:30 the same day we were planning to go to Animal Kingdom. Originally, I thought we could spend the first party of the day at AKL, then wander over to Epcot about 3:00. I just started thinking about Kali River Rapids ride- will my group be too washed up to go into a restaurant like LC after doing a water ride. Would you move things around. By the way, the reason we are doing AK that day instead of Epcot is because of EMH- would it be better to just skip the EMH and do Epcot the day of the LC ressie???? 26 days and counting and thinking too much about the details!!!!!!!!:confused3 :cool1: :rotfl2:

I think you can do both, everyone in Le Cellier is going to be in park clothes so if you do Kali early in the day then you will be dry for your dinner.

You'll be fine. People in the Disney restaurants are in various stages of dress from perfect down to "had a really hard day in the parks". As long as you are comfortable with how you look and the host at the door doesn't run away in horror and admits you, enjoy your meal.

I don't think anyone will care how you look, but just so you know, plan to get soaked on KRR. Last time I did it, I was drenched. So, it might make sitting down to eat a little uncomfortable. As long as you do it early in the day, though, you should be dry enough to enjoy your meal.

I would do that ride early. Your in Disney your expected to be dressed as you are in a park. You will be fine. Have Fun :thumbsup2

We always begin extra clothes and leave them in a locker when we're planning on doing KRR. If it's a hot day, being wet isn't too bad, but if it's cool or overcast, DD gets pretty miserable. Also, if you're wearing denim, that can take forever to dry. But people in TS restaurants in the parks are dressed as they have been for that day of touring.

Just keep in mind that the Disney restaurants are freezing - the air conditioning is turned way down - so may sure you are dry before you get there!

I've found that reversing the parks with EMHs works better for me - I go to the park WITHOUT the EMHs instead of the one with - everyone in the world is at the early park that day - so why not go to one that will likely have less crowds? That worked like a charm for us with DHS.

HI. You could just wear a poncho and then stay dry. We get the $1 ones from Wal-Mart which are in a small enough package to keep them in your pocket. They're in the camping section.

Keep in mind you'll need to take a bus, say to AKL then a bus to Epcot for that ADR. There are no Park to Park buses. Be sure to leave enough time for travel and getting through security.

Honestly, we really liked having dinner at Boma after AK. LeCellier is hard to get though so you may not want to give up the ADR or chance shifting things around. We took the Epcot bus after dinner and caught Illuminations.

This is absolutely not true - there are park to park buses - I've ridden them. There are just no buses between DTD and the parks.

I brought a little shammy to AK and used it after KRR. It was small enough to fold up into a little zip loc bag and it seriously took all the water out of our clothes. We got soaked on that ride and after using the shammy were almost completely dry.
