Really silly mileage question?

Hi Guys,

I know this is a really silly question but i'm trying to find out how many miles it is from where I live in Dundee to WDW, any ideas on how I can find out?

It is 4160 miles from Dundee to Orlando.

You can always drive over to double check

www.webflyer.com - gives you actually airport to airport miles, so it's sort of accurate..

I've had Google Earth for many months, but didn't know it did that!

Checked it now and it says Dundee to Downtown Orlando is 4172 miles, so I'll let you off with 4160 (+/- 12 miles = 0.3%)...

I am doing an exercise challenge where I am trying to get to WDW from where I live (Wellingborough).
When I go to the gym I write down how many km I do, and add it to my list.
I had to work out my distance too, but I might check it to make sure I got it right.

I still have a long way to go though!

Yes that's exactly what i'm up to. I have a few stone to lose before I go back and I figured that if I could have a proper goal then it may work this time and like you I could write it down and add it up, my reward of course will be my trip to WDW!!

Hi Florence,

What did you study? I worked in the Physics Department at the University of Surrey for 5 years before moving up here last year.

I love shopping in Glasgow though, can't beat it. Apart from London I suppose, somewhere else I lived for 7 years before miving to Surrey!!

Can you work out Wellingborough to WDW for me?

The best I can quickly get off Google Earth is Wellingborough to Lake Buena Vista at 4324.2 miles (as the crow flies). Hope that helps

That's a great idea but I will get my husband to give me the money as he's such a scrooge!!! Then I can spend HIS money and not mine!!!
