Ok so we are leaving in July and we have reservations already for BWPPI which I really love. However as time gets closer I am really debating this. We have always stayed across the street. I love going back and forth to the park. Especially during the summer months.

So here is my dilema, we are bringing an extra person with us on our trip. I know it is weird but I really want a suite that has a door dividing us. I just feel comfortable with this idea. Since there will be a mix of teenage boys and girls. I just feel like if i had a door i can have the girls change in one room and the boys change in the other. Does this make sense. We need a suite that fits six. anyone have any idea what hotels would have a suite but with a door dividing us.

Thanks so much!

Desert Inn and Suites has large suites. I would check out their website for pictures and look for doors. It is very close and less expensive than others. I have not stayed there myself, but I've done a lot of research.

I really like that one we have stayed there the only problem is that I would really like an outdoor pool during the summer month.

Have you looked at Carousel Inn? I have never stayed there so can't vouch for it's quality, but I have looked at their website a few times when planning trips and noticed they have suites. You should be able to find some reviews, and I'm sure there are some disers here who have stayed there and could give an opinion.

ETA: I knew some disers had been there. See this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2901289

2 weeks ago I stayed at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. It is on Harbor Blvd at Disney Drive (or Way), 1 block south of the main entrance. Easy walk - even at midnight when we (wife and 2 kids) were exhausted! The hotel was clean and our room with 2 queen beds was roomy. All rooms have a fridge and some a microwave. The bath has two sinks which made getting ready easier. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant. Instead we brought poptarts for breakfast. All other meals were in the parks. The fridge was nice for milk and juice. We went with another family. We had a "family suite" that sleeps 8. It's really two regular rooms with a connecting door. The outdoor pool is Olympic sized. The kids had a great time in such a huge pool. The parking fee was $4/day, much cheaper than most hotels in that area. Our AAA rate was about $85/night Sunday-Thursday. In general, the hotel isn't super fancy, but also no where close to being a dive. I would definitely stay there again.

Check the Park Vue and see if they have a suite available the for your dates. They are the same distance as the BWPPI (next door to each other). We stayed there last July, and I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again.

They have a decent free breakfast, and some snacks in the evening. Drinks and cookies in the lobby and a gift basket with fruit, water and either wine or sparkling cider in your room when you arrive.

We will be staying at park vue inn this july, in a 2 room suite. ours it one that has a seperate bedroom with 2 queen beds and a living room with a pull out queen sofa and a full kitchenette. there is another 2 room suite that has 2 queens in one room and 1 queen in the other room. they have an extensive breakfast included, with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals etc. an afternoon light meal of things like taco's, soup etc. free bottled water, fruit, cookies, in the lobby all day long. with teens I would think the money you'd save on all that available included food would pay for the room! :rotfl: check them out on trip advisor they are highly rated, like number 2 or something, and there are tons of pictures to see. some people complain about the carpet not being clean but they just replaced them all this past summer. the pictures show how nice the rooms are, and we are really looking forward to staying here. they also have a pool and hot tub. and it is directly across the street from the main entrance so easy to run back and forth during the day for any reason. oh and they will give you a free gift basket when you check in with fruit and either wine or non alcoholic cider, and if you have a birthday or anniversary they do it up with balloons etc. price for all this is much less than you would pay for 2 seperate rooms at most other hotels in the area. our rate for july is $163. free parking too. I plan on taking lot's of pictures to post here :)

The 6-person (two queens in one room, sofabed in another) and 8-person (2 queens in each room) suites at Desert Inn both have a internal door to provide more privacy. The bathrooms are also large enough to change in.
