Really Low Fares

I just had to share this. I am going to FL in NOV. I have been trying to book low air fare for a few days now but nothing was coming up for less than $100 each way.
Today I got some mail from Southwest Air. Well I checked the site and found a flight from Hartford non-stop to Orlando for............$37.21 each way. with taxes and fees etc it comes out to $47.25 each way. Needless to say I grabbed that one really quick. I don't think I will ever find anything lower.
These rates run through Dec 8, even though the site says Sept 30, so if you can get away, run quickly to Southwest air and book em Danno. Sorry about that, does anyone remember that show? That is the only line that stuck with me. Here I go showing my age again.

The show was Hawaii Five-0; I remember it well. Does that date me?
The Southwest site is easy to navigate, and I have been looking at tickets in November,too. Better book, 'em! The lowest rates are for Tues, Wed, & Saturday only (FYI).

Isn't Southwest one of those airlines that ends up screwing up your schedule with last minute changes, though?

Meaning, if you buy a direct flight, chances are that pretty close to the departure/return date, you'll have to gulp down at least one stopover.

I have had no problems with Southwest the way Wanda mentions. When I have bought non-stop tickets to Orlando, the flights have never changed. I am actually quite happy with Southwest. All of my experiences have been great, with on-time flights and arrival times that are on-time or early.

I fly southwest a lot. I have never had them change a flight once I booked it, although I have had to book some unwieldy schedules to get the best fare. But I always knew it beforehand. Never been changed afterwards.

(And I've flown about 30 flights with them in the last 18 months - gotta love them frequent flier programs)
