I feel really silly and can't find the answer through any "help" sites. So, naturally, I am turning to the DIS, where all questions are answered.

I have Windows XP. Normally my task bar is along the bottom of the screen. Well, not today. It has somehow migrated so that it is vertical, along the right side of the screen. How the heck do I get it back down to the bottom?

The really lame thing is that it happened once before but I can't remember how I fixed it.:confused3

Thanks!

Left click on the blue area of the task bar and while holding down the mouse button slide it back down into position at the bottom of your screen.

Yep. Just tried it.
Just drag it back down. you have to find the right spot to grip it.

Don't grab it at the edge, that just makes the bar wider. You need to grab it in the bar area.

You can right click an empty area on the taskbar, select properties and make sure "Lock the task bar" is selected and you won't accidentally move or resize it again.
