Help!
I'm one of those people who need coffee just so I can make coffee. Worse than that, it has to be good coffee. So...if you're like me where have you found the best coffee? Or do I need to lug my espresso machine? Staying at PPH..is their coffee shop any good? :surfweb:

Thank you, I did search "coffee" and these two threads were not there. I wonder how the searches are sorted?

Rosie,

I honestly dont know about PP but the coffee house at DLH and all the restaurants in the hotels have awesome coffee...the only places I dont really like the coffee in the park are the counter service areas because its nescafe :crazy2: and that just isnt very good as far as Im concerned

First, let me say DO NOT DRINK THE COFFEE provided with the coffee machine in the room! I've had plenty of bad coffee in my time, but this one was just about the worst ever! Even DH couldn't drink it, and he's a lot less picky than I am, he just wants coffee first thing.

If you want to make it in the room, bring your own (tiny) filters and coffee, or the pre-measured coffee in a filter-bag.

We were staying at the DLH and found the coffee at the DLH Coffee House to be fine. Not Starbucks, mind you, but better than the coffee in the office, right? So if the resort hotels use the same coffee, you should be good.

We did try coffee at the La Brea Bakery, and it was fine, too, actually a bit better than the Coffee House, IMHO. (But maybe it was because they actually stirred the chocolate into the mocha rather than leaving it in a sludge puddle at the bottom?)

I had a really good cup of coffee after dinner at the Bleu Bayou. It was a few years back, but it was good enough that I still remember it.

Anybody know what they serve?

They changed their search options not long ago. It is much faster, but I don't ever get anything when I first put a word/phrase in to search. I have to go to "advanced search" then scroll down to the Disneyland discussion. Then I can usually find what I am searching for. Does that make sense?

Thanks..I'll try that next time.

The bakery/coffey house on DL Main Street is good. We often stop there for NF latte when in the park.

The Baker's Field Bakery in DCA roasts their own coffee, and you can often catch a whiff of it downwind at the DCA entrance. I like it, but I'm not too picky about coffee.

ah your so right jlmarr and it smells really great however, I have to have my coffee stronnnnnnnnnnng and early in the am...so by the time DCA opens I have already had a pot of coffee so im over it already :rotfl:

How is it int DLH Concierge Lounge? I'm counting on that to start my day.

Well, the BEST coffee served at Disneyland used to be at Granville Steakhouse, but unfortunately, they've decided to change vendors and now it's not the same. They used to serve Dietrich, and it was AMAZING. What they have now is very ordinary. As usual, cost efficiencies rear their ugly heads.

Sorry to say, I have no recommendations, but just wanted to gripe!!!

My point exactly..I'll not make it out of the hotel doors until I've had that first (great) cup!
