Hey guys. I'm in the VERY early stages of planning a trip to WDW in Sept '09. I'm planning to go the very last 10 days of the month, so 1. I'll be at F&WF & 2. I won't be in the free dining crowd.

I've been going for years, but I've never gone this time of year. The closest is, Nov. We used to always go the first week of Nov.

My question is. Knowing that it's a slow time of year & it's F&WF, I assume it's a busier DVC time of year. How hard would it be to get 2 studios, concierge level at AKV at 11 months out & how hard to get 2 studios at BCV or BWV 7 months out??

I'm torn between the three. I figure I'll book AKV at my 11 month window then at 7 months call day-to-day if I decide against AKV.

I'm really not sure which I would prefer yet. I LOVE BWV, it's my favorite, I'm dying to stay at BCV, never been & I'm dying to try WDW's concierge & AKV is my only chance on points.

So to recap, how hard will it be to get 2 studios at AKV concierge level at 11 months out or BCV/BWV at 7 months out??

Thanks!

Crap shoot or luck of the draw for concierge and very difficult for BCV at 7 months during F&W. BWV might be a possibility, but also difficult.

I think for both of your options, you're going to need to be on the phone at 9am doing day by day.

Then you need 2 studios, that would scare me trying to waitlist and hope they both get moved to what you want.

I was able to get 3 days in a BWV preferred view studio for a long weekend (Thursday to check-out on Sunday) in October this year, but called day-by-day at the 7 month window. Of course, standard and BW views were not available, but I'm happy to be at the Boardwalk for F & W. By the way BCV was not available.

HTH
