Really Big Group!!!

I'm in a Girl Scout troop and we're looking for someplace to go on a big trip. We figure that we'll go on said trip around 2010-2012. I was wondering what the big group rates are (we're a troop of 14, but some may drop out and chaperones, so we should have around 16 at the trip) and where we should stay in WDW. Also, do you have any fundraising ideas, because we have nothing in out Troop Bank. Thanks!!!

I would check with grand gatherings at WDW and see what they can do for you.

16 is not a big group - at Disney that would be considered a grand gathering. Group bookings require at least 10 sleeping rooms.

You want to contact Youth Groups. I don't remember the address but it is by Disney. Maybe do a search on the Disney web site. It gives youth groups discounts and a class! Some behind the scenes and anamil encounters depending on ages. Adults - first 2 can buy tickets at group rate - after that an adult can buy 1 for every 5(?) kids. You can also camp at Ft. Wilderness - how would you be getting there? If you live close this might be one way of keeping costs down. I am a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts and I have looked into this. The costs from NYC are a bit much for us right now. The transportation part that is. The discounts are great for the kids.
