Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but I am curious as to whether anyone has any experience/success in “re-allocating” points from another use year (and therefore different membership number).
Here is the situation:
- I have two different use years (and therefore membership numbers).
- I have a booking (made at the 7 month mark) next March. It was booked through my Feb use year, and booked with then-current Feb 2021 use year points.
- I also have a June use year. Due to all of the recent cancellations I now have banked 2019 UY points that will expire on May 31 2021.
- I would like to reallocate these points to my March booking.
- There is no longer availability, so I cannot cancel and rebook.
I have reallocated points before, but only within a single membership. Is it possible to reallocate across membership numbers? If not, can I transfer in the banked points from my June UY to my March UY (not sure if you can transfer banked points?) and then re-allocate?
