This is for Sunday, Aug 6 at MK.

Rope drop Peter pan, then pooh, then space mountain. Be out of space mountain before 10:00.

Then use 9:30-10:30 FP. Probably jungle cruise.

Thanks.

Assuming a 9AM park opening, seems fine to me. You're sort of criss-crossing the park but we do that kind of stuff too. Have fun! :thumbsup2

Also, just FYI... I checked and 8/6 is an Early Morning Magic morning. It's a seperate hard-ticket event which gives people access to PP, 7DMT, and Pooh from 7:45-9AM (along with a breakfast). The headcount for this event is quite low - estimates in the 200ish range. It's not going to materially impact your PP rope drop experience, but just know there could be a handful of of EMM folks already there in Fantasyland when you arrive. (Although when we have done EMM we usually take off to do some other rides once the park officially opens.).

On the plus side, there's no chance that the 9AM park opening will change that day!

Might be tough to be done by 10:00 but should be close.

Last couple of trips, we have done Peter Pan at rope drop and then gone straight to Space Mountain. Both times, we were off Space at about 9:50. Shouldn't take too much longer than 10 minutes extra to squeeze in a Pooh ride.

Yes...that will work but I would be standing past the hub no later than 8:20.

Just ran it through some planning software, and it projects you being in line for Space before 10 but not finished until 10:18, with you being in line for Jungle Cruise by 10:27.

It also assumes everything will be running the way it should that morning. If a ride isn't open or goes down (Pooh is notorious for this), you'll have to adjust accordingly.

Maybe I should make that first fp for 10-11?

I don't want to risk missing it but I don't want to waste time either, waiting for that first fast pass time. It would also push the 2nd and 3rd fp times back also.

My 60 day booking is tomorrow. Which time do you think I should try for?

Why not just make your FP be for Pan (or space if Pan isn't available) instead of JC? Then you can RD space first then head to pooh and wherever else you want to go first.

He's going to need a FP for Jungle Cruise unless he does it in the first hour. The lines build surprisingly quick for it. I think his original plan is fine. If he wants to be safe, perhaps make the FP+ for 10-11 instead.

I always just do Adventureland first. Big Thunder, Splash, Jungle Cruise, then Pirates. Knock out half the park in an hour or two.

I always do Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan, and Space Mountain as our fast passes.

Thanks for sharing this info!

We will be at MK on 8/6 as well and I was wondering about how the EMM would work with our rope drop plan as well. We are not really breakfast eaters and so my DH was not a fan of paying $400+ for 3 rides. I have hear that the EMM are great, but it's not a hill I want to die on, so... I'm glad to hear that it shouldn't affect our plans too much. We have a second MK day later in the week, so I'm not too pressed.

Best of luck in your planning OP! We're almost there!!

I'd like to do Peter Pan in stand by as we've never seen the new queue before. That is the reason for doing Peter Pan first. I know we'll miss some of the effects by getting there at rope drop, but we can't get everything! I guess it being a EMM morning will help us get extra queue time!

Maybe I should split the difference and try for 9:45! FP

Definitely do it standby! The queue is worth it!

For our July trip, we have all of our first FPs booked from either 9:15 - 10:15 or 9:30 - 10:30, and use them at the very end of our window. This is because our last fastpass is scheduled for 11:15 - 12:15 (or 11:30 - 12:30), and we're really ready to leave the park by then. We don't do our first one from 10 - 11 because then our third one can't be until 12 - 1 and getting on something at 12 is a bit late for us - we're either heading out or having lunch before we head out.

Space lines are notoriously the longest of the rides you mentioned. When you talk about the park filling and attraction capacity, you want Space first, then Peter Pan, then Pooh if you're heart set on those three. FP for JC is a stretch to me because you can usually get that as a 4th FP but if that's your plan I'd do a 10:30-11:30 FP for that if available.

Thanks all. I decided on the Meet Rapunzel and Tiana at 9:50-10:50. Shorter walk than Jungle Cruise. Either we'll pick up JC as a 4th FP, and if we can't, we're going to hit JC after our PPO at BOG later in the week. That morning would be SDMT, Peter Pan, then Jungle Cruise.

I realize it's a bit out of the way to do Fantasyland, space mountain, and back to FL. But, family really wants our first park day to start with going through the castle into FL, and ride peter pan, Pooh and space mountain.
