realistic chance on HHI GV wait list for late Aug?

I am relatively new to DVC (although I've certainly educated myself on these boards) and I have not had any experience yet with the "wait list". We had tried to get a Grand Villa at HHI for the last 5 days of August but none were available and MS offered to put me on the waitlist so I did. The more I think about it and the more I read here, I'm starting to think this is may be an impossible situation. Any thoughts from all the DVC/HHI experts out there would be much appreciated -- I know there are many factors and no one can predict the future but I just need some straight talk as to whether I'm crazy to hold out for this or if there might actually be a (good?) possibility?

I believe nothing in the universe is absolutely impossible, but summer at HHI comes close! I believe there are only 5 GVs at HHI. If you are on the waitlist, that means someone else's plans would have to blow up - and at that for the exact days you need. If you are not right at the head of the waitlist, several plans would have to blow up

I would get on the waitlist, but definitely make other arrangements.
