Real park hours?

I saw that US is open 9-10pm every day we will be visting and IOA 8am-9pm. Does that mean I can get there at 8am and the early entry feature for one site guests is 7-8am at IOA?

Should I be at the gate at 15 minutes prior to opening or any benefit earlier?

Early entry is one hour prior to scheduled park opening time. If the park opens at 8am, then early entry is at 7am.
