~ Real Housewives Of NewYorkCity ~

Disgusting. Jill and Luanne are absolutely disgusting. I don't know if I can watch them anymore. Luanne is obviously bitter from her divorce and is inserting herself in all drama whenever possible. So obvious how Jill picked another underling (i.e. Luanne) so that she can once again be the leader of the pack or ahead of someone. How could she be so nasty to Bethenny for wanting to be successful and move on with her life. I agree with Bethenny, you never want to win with Jill, because if you do you'll still lose because Jill will hate you for being right.

I think Ramona was right last season that Jill likes an underdog. LuAnn is the new project she has taken on and she is doing everything to make sure Bethanny is miserable. LuAnn doesn't want the two to make up since she is so needy after her divorce. Those two are like high school bullies. I don't think B is without blame, she got caught up in her business, new man etc. but a friend would forgive and move on. This bickering is starting to get old and I am not sure how much longer I will watch.

Exactly. I have gotten into some nasty arguments with my best friend, but we always forgave and moved on. Jill just won't let up. Bethenny did get caught up in business and love but that is no excuse for Jill to treat her like that any longer, especially since she is trying to resolve it. It's old now. Jill is even upset at the thought that Kelly has made up with Bethenny. I guess if she hates her than everybody should. Jill is toxic to herself.

I cannot believe that Ramona let her young daughter take that cab ride home by herself. She is some piece of work.

Jill is awful. Where does she get the idea everyone should fall at her feet with praise and adoration?

The previews for next week with Ramona being a "model" were hilarious! Her eyes! I finally can't wait to see Bethenny find out she's preggers.

Oh yea, I made the mistake of watching the wives of New Jersey the other day when Bravo had 5 or 6 episodes on in a row and I'm hooked! I wasn't going to watch any other ones besides OC and NYC, but I got into it. I like them better than NYC! I'll be watching that one next month.

I really liked Jill last season, she was my favorite, but this year she is such a Mean Girl, only she's an adult...there's no excuse for it. She holds grudges. People who hold grudges they way she's gripping the one she has right now do not make good friends. Bethany should know, if it wasn't this issue it would have been something else. You can't have a lasting relationship with someone like that. Bethany was right, she was just waiting for her to fail. It was inevitable.

On the other hand, I never liked Bethany. I think Bethany has a toxic, acerbic personality. She can be really nasty. I think that comes from her self admitted "damaged" past. I don't think she's a happy person, really. But I do feel sympathy toward her in the current spat.

Jeez Louise, none of those ladies would I want to know in real life. They're like a train wreck and I can't look away.

I think B can be nasty when need be. But look how many times she's been attacked and handles it like a grownup.

Jill just needs to grow up. Talk about about an unhappy person.
The Countless needs to be slapped. She's so full of poop its funny, she really needs to get a life or a job.

The one person that I like is Alex, she's real and would be a real friend. Out of all the women she has the most (I can't believe I'm saying this) class. I think she needs to rethink her decorating of her house, but hey I don't have to live there. I also found out that my niece lives 2 blocks from them. She has never seen them but has seen that the Bravo camera crew has been there. Joking I told her I may have to come for an extended visit.

Ramona did look hilarious:lmao:

Bethanny needs to be in the spotlight. all her fake crying -and putting something as PERSONAL as a pregnany on this trashy show just proves it

I don't think her crying is fake at all. I used to see Bethenny and Jill together quite a bit in the Hamptons without any camera crews around, and they were always laughing. I really do think they were very good friends in real life and I think Bethenny is truly hurt from losing her friend. I do wonder if Jill might have sat down with Bethenny to talk things out if LuAnn had not been there to interfere. As crazy as Ramona is, she did have the right idea to try to get them together. It's crazy that Alex now seems the most grounded and likable.

I don't think Bethenny's tears were fake either ... I did find it interesting when Jill saw Bethenny at Ramona's and then said something to the effect that she didn't have her pre-prepared "notes" with her so she could remember everything that Bethenny had done to her ... so even if LuAnn weren't there, I still don't think that Jill, not having her "cheat sheet" with her , would have been very happy sitting down and trying to work things out with Bethenny ... I also think that LuAnn should have just stayed out of it ... her un-countess-like behavior definitely showed her insecurity and jealousy as to not wanting Jill and Bethenny to ever make up ...

I think Bethenny summed Jill up nicely when she basically said that nobody can ever win with Jill ... Jill needs to grow up ... and so does the Countess  ...

Jill just posted this on FB:
Jill Zarin So..what do you do when you have a fight with a friend..and you don't want to make up yet...then when your ready they don't want to? You write, call and send gifts. Suggestions welcome!

My first thought to what Jill posted was she felt bad after seeing all the footage of how she hurt B but then I thought about it and it seems that a lot of people have turned on her and the countless and it is just to make her self look better now. I don't trust her.

Oh, you're right - I had forgotten that she "had made a list." Seriously, who does that for a fight with a girlfriend?

sure sounds like someone is not liking NOT being in the most "popular" clique anymore :rolleyes1 ... I think the heat of not being "loved" by all and losing fans, is starting to make Jill very "unhappy" ... so is this just a publicity stunt to try and win her fans back? :scratchin... or has she truly realized that she acted very immaturely with Bethenny? :scratchin ... or did her BFF the Countless dump her for a new BFF or Count? :scratchin  ... anyway, I think she's gotten herself into a real pickle here ... if I were Bethenny, I would just stay away from "toxic" Jill ... isn't it amazing how Jill suddenly wants to make up now when she just recently called Bethenny's wedding a "circus"? ...

maybe someone still in high school  ...

I think Jill was just hurt that Bethenny leaned on her so much when she was in despair, then suddenly took off when she met her boyfriend. I think a couple of lunches with Jill or girls night out would have gone a long way with Jill. Also, Jill expected more from Bethenny when her DH was so ill. Yeah she sent flowers, but that is kind of something a co-worker or distant relative would do.

Also, I don't get the whole "jill and the underdog" thing. I think from seeing Jills mom on the show, we can see how empathetic she is. I remember her mom, Gloria, talking to Bethenny and Bethenny sobbing while Gloria gave her a pep talk and kind of took her under her wing. Gloria did the same thing with Luann when Luann was telling her about her divorce. I think Jill gets that empathetic nature from her mom. I don't think it's a bad thing.

Ramona is by far my favorite. She is hilarious. I love when she just tells it like it is, no apology, no back-peddlilng, no waffling. She just shoots it from the hip.

Okay everyone, I think we need to give Bethhany some slack for the crying. She is in the early stages of pregnancy at this point and her emotions are out of whack. And also, she went to see her father and HE WOULDN'T SEE HER!:scared1: That's just awful for anybody. What a cold hearted man.
I'm tired of Jill, but I'm tired of Luanne even more. Blech.

I can see this ... however, I don't know if a few lunches with Jill would have smoothed things over with her too much either because then why did Jill think it was such a good idea to save Bethenny's "get a hobby" message and share it with everyone? ... that just seemed like she didn't want to or was planning to make amends with Bethenny no way, no how because Jill had already resolved herself to getting the "toxicity" out of her life ...

On a side note, I'm just wondering if some of Jill's "issues" with Bethenny also came from finding out that Bethenny was going to get her own reality show on Bravo and she wasn't ... didn't this news come out about the same time they were filming for this season? ... I know they haven't mentioned this on any episodes, but I'm just wondering if behind the scenes, Jill's little green monster was rearing it's head on Bethenny, KWIM? ...

I can see this too, but I kinda get the feeling that Jill may like to feel superior to others too, KWIM? ...

But it's all just my opinion ... :)

I'm jumping in here late but after last Thursday's show I just feel the need to comment. IMO Jill's behavior is way out of line. I don't get the sense that all the women are best friends or friends at all. But I did get the sense that Jill and Bethenney were friends even extending to a relationship with Gloria.

Yes, Bobby got sick but it sounds as if during the initial diagnosis and testing that maybe Jill and B. were out of touch. To me that would be totally understandable because its so caotic and exhausting and trying to keep up with day-to-day stuff and when test results are due and doctor's appts, etc., friends/family back off. Largely, because they know you have so much on your plate and they don't want to add to it. They figure, "you'll call when you have time". But also, everyone deals with this (other other horrible diagnosis) their own way. I really believe that B. thought Bobby had a procedure and everything was great! She never heard differently and life moved on.

Then there's Jill just sitting waiting for people to call. And this is where the problem lies. It's not as if B. did nothing - it just wasn't enough (according to Jill's expectations). But how was B. to know that? If they were such good friends, Jill should have reached out to B. and told her how much she needed her with very specific information, i.e., I need you to be there when we get results, I need you to come visit Bobby and help keep his spirits up, etc.

Jill is throwing away a friend which I have come to find are hard to make the older we get. This is an exciting time in B. life with a new husband and a baby on the way. I kind of think that Jill would love to be a part of all of it (as would Bobby).

I write this from a place of "knowing". Been there, done that. Not that i wrote off any friends. But I definitely have had friends and family that just didn't know what to do - even my own Father. To this day, 4 years into my fight - he still doesn't know what to say or do. Even with me telling him. But I'm not ready to write him off. Everyone deals with illnesses differently. Jill should just welcome love and friendship into her life and forgive others. It does wonderful things for the soul.

Last season I wasn't very fond of Silex at all (he just gives me a creepy vibe, they both seemed so fake and pretentious), but this year?...they're my favorite couple :faint: ! Say what you will about Simon, he loves those kids and seems to spend a lot of time with them and the same goes for Alex. The twosome also seems to have toned down the glory-grubbing/social-climbing they excessively indulged in last season. Both Alex & Simon also seem to work more this season.

Ramona needs to put a sock in it, I'm surprised someone hasn't slapped some duct-tape over that slap-chop mouth of hers...plus I think she occasionally goes off her meds. She gets all strangely revved-up and just blurts out the most horrible things.

LuAnn is a narcisstic glory-hound who makes every situation all about her - she & Jill are a good match. "Honestly"...if I hear that woman snidely say "Honestly" before she lets loose with one of her snotty pronouncements about other people's behavior...GACK. gack gack gack. Speaking of utter gackiness, did anyone catch the latest dance track from the Real Housewives franchise?...

Looks like Kim Zolciak has some competition :scared: .
Oh, and here's some more information about LuAnn...
Her maiden name was Nadeau.
She grew up in Berlin, Connecticut.
She has six brothers and sisters.
She graduated from high school in Berlin in 1983 or possibly 1984(that makes her somewhere around 44-46 years old.

Her father owned a construction business, her mother, Rolande, is French-Canadian. There are many Nadeaus still in the Berlin area, including a "Nadeau Brothers Construction Business".

There's an intriguing Harper's Bazaar article about the NYC Housewives cast: http://www.harpersbazaar.com/magazine/feature-articles/real-housewives-new-york-city-0708-5 ,
some info about LuAnn/Luann is here:
http://www.harpersbazaar.com/magazine/feature-articles/real-housewives-new-york-city-0708-2
LuAnn/Luann also likes to claim that she is Indian, her father supposedly was/is all or part Algonkian/Algonquin/Algonkin Indian

Kelly isn't annoying me as much this season. I know she's kind of a dim bulb but I don't know...it doesn't seem like she means much harm, at least not on the level of LuAnn.

Miss Jill hasn't told the complete story about what happened between her & former BFF Bethenny. It seems to me that she's mad Bethenny didn't come visit Bobby when he had surgery, but then again I think Bethenny heard about Bobby secondhand and through the grapevine, she didn't hear it directly from Jill...I'm not sure Bethenny knew at that time that Bobby was having surgery for thyroid cancer. And what does Bobby, the actual injured party, have to say about all this I wonder...hmmmm?

Bethenny seems so lost and sad about Jill cutting her loose, but I do have to say...

if all these women would just SHUT UP once they make their point and LET THE OTHER PERSON TALK. Instead, they veer off into tangents and stir up old spats and gear up new animosities.

agnes!
