Real disappering reservation - I called!

I had a reservations for HDDMR at 5:00 on 10/30. I called because I was getting worried with the system "upgrade." It wasn't there. She checked 100 ways and it wasn't showing up. My confirmation number was showing as cancelled and I NEVER cancelled nor double booked for that day and time. Luckily I was able to get in on 10/31, but it just screws up my plans. Oh well, I guess. Not much I can do about it but keep checking...

Just a public service for those of you hoping that everything will turn out fine.
 
Glad you were able to make a new ressie. Out of curiosity, did the CM that you spoke with say when your ADR was cancelled? Does it coincide with the upgrades to the system?

Curious too. I am missing 4 ADRs but have not called.

Did you have to reserve with a Credit Card? Was it charged?
 

The CM I was on the phone with said it was "Auto cancelled" on the 10th. He said he'd never seen anything like it.

I didn't realize when I posted before that many people are having trouble pulling their reservations up, hopefully mine are still out there somewhere!

Do you have your original confirmation e-mail? Will they not honor the ADR with that? None of my ADRs are showing up yet either, but I have all the original e-mails and I would throw a fit if they didn't honor them. Especially since it was their error.

Yes, I do have it. Apparently they won't honor it... :confused3 The CMs both said there was nothing they could do to honor the original reservation.
 
I called Monday to cancel my ressie for HDDR and at first she could not find it, eventually the CM did find it and she told me the correct amt of refund so now I am just waiting for it to show up. I about died when she could not find it though was flashing thru my mind how in the world am I gonna get my payment back. :rotfl:

This entire ADR situation is a nightmare.
 
You made me nervous, so I just called to confirm my ADRs for February. Mine were all there. The CM did tell me if you had the confirmation, they would honor the reservation. Might want to try another CM.
 
I was trying to book just before the upgrade and had a perfect reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table. Luckily it wouldn't go through, it kept erroring out. I would be more mad if I got it and it just got cancelled. I called the phone number and the recording told me about the upgrades.

I need to check my card and make sure I didn't get charged.
 
Oh, and I'm glad everything worked out with getting another ADR, OP, and I hope you can re-work your plans so everythign will be back on track!! :)
 
I am very glad you were able to re-schedule! Considering that the first upgrade happened on 10/14 and your ADR was canceled on 10/10, I am not sure that you can point the finger at the upgrade, but it is truly upsetting that they lost it and charged you!
 
The more I think about this the more angry I'm getting. I had this completely planned. We were to do HDDMR on our AK day since we can do AK in a relatively short amount of time. Now HDDMR is on our MK day and I don't get to eat Ohana dinner?!?! And they just get to say "Sorry?" I'm MAD!

OK, breathe...I'm not going to let this ruin our probably-once-in-a-lifetime vacation. I'm not.
 
I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I called yesterday about my missing Le Cellier reservations. I was lucky to get two--a dinner one for my arrival day, and a lunch one later in the week in case our plane was late and we somehow missed our arrival day ADR.

The CM (Toby) was very helpful, confirmed all of my other reservations and was able to find my arrival day Le Cellier ADR. However, she was not able to find the second one! She checked under my name, phone number, resort reservation number and even went to Le Cellier's ADR list for that day and checked the timeslots around the time our reservation was and could not find anything. :scared1:

I'm not that concerned because my plane is landing at 11:30AM and my ADR is for around 5:00 (and we're renting a car), so we will likely have no problem making our arrival day ADR. That said, I wonder what would happen if I actually showed up with my confirmation for that missing lunch ADR? :confused3 Surely not everyone is as anal-retentive as us DISers to continually confirm (and tweak) reservations.
 
I bet the CMs are getting a lot of these calls. I hate to call and bother them. But the thought of ADRs getting lost isnt good. Especially pre park opening ones.
How are the CMs on the phone? Do they sound frustrated or as helpful as always?

Very, very helpful. The wait was annoying. The first time I called I called the room reservation line first because I had a question about our room. I asked if they could transfer me to the dining line and I got someone right away. The next 2 times I called the estimated wait time was 9 minutes.

Only 2 of my 13 are showing up.
 
I have been calm long enough. I still only have 4 of 12 showing up online- so I am on hold for Disney Dining. I will let y'all know how it turns out.
