In my Sunday newspaper there was a deal that seemed almost too good to be true.
If you purchase Quicken (I needed the upgrade), they give you on the spot, a cross-cut shredder and a case of paper. You also get from Quicken a $20.00 mail-in rebate and a $20.00 OfficeMax gift card.
My Quicken cost was $59.99, minus the rebate and gift card brings it down to $20.00. There are no coupons to cut out or anything, just go to OfficeMax and make the purchase. I am sorry I did not see when the deal ends, but it just started this Sunday the 15th.
In addition, I loaded Quicken on Sunday. This morning I noticed that there was the big orange ING icon on my desktop. When I clicked on it, there was an offer to get $50.00 for opening a new account. You have to use the link they provide and use the product code on the front of the Quicken CD.
So with that on top of the rebates, I got everyting for free and maybe some money back. I have already opened an ING account and I think this may be for new customers only. At any rate, even without the ING offer, this was still a really, really good deal in my opinion.
