Ready to buy 4 day hopper- best price?

I am new to this board and I am sure this question has been asked a hundred times, but I am ready to buy 3 adult 4 day park hopper passes. Where is the best place to buy them from?

I found the best price for plain 4 day PH's at the Disney Store. I could have saved a few pennies at AAA, but didn't want to travel to pick up the passes. Price at Disney store was $204 and a few pennies.

I believe that Snoozan is right here. But be sure to contact your AAA as well if you are a member. Different AAA's carry different passes and charge different prices. And when you compare, be sure to know whether the prices include taxes or not. The prices that you are quoted at TDS do NOT include taxes. Prices most other places DO include taxes.

Oh - something else to think about. Since you are all adults, do you think that you might be going to Pleasure Island one evening? If so, you might find that a PHP would be your best bet.

I just paid 197. and some change for a 4+1 park hopper plus for an adult. That is with tax. I joined the dealpass thing - similar to connctions, but I joined simple rewards. The 1st month is$1.00 and the next is like 15.00, but you can cancel and never even have to pay anything but the 1.00. I am going to keep it 1 month because you have to to get your free 50.00 in GC's. I have been looking around and that is the best I could find.

I just bought tickets today at my local Disney Store, and the manager happened to be the one to ring me up. He didn't give me discounts on my Hoppers because we are getting them at a discount by buying them in advance. I was bummed, as I had just extended my Disney Club membership to the end of the year so I COULD get the ticket discounts! Talk about irritated. Neither the person on the phone when I extended my DC membership NOR the CM at the Disney Store 2 weeks ago said I couldn't get my Hoppers with discount when I mentioned it to them. I'm not a happy camper at the moment.

Hotwire savings club has the 4 day PHP for approx $197 which is cheaper than the regular 4 day hopper. There is no shipping but you do have to sign up for the trial period. It is then $7.99 a month if you decide to keep the membership.

What tickets did you buy? The DC discount on 4 and 5 day park hoppers (no plusses) was discontinued in September 2002. If you bought any other ticket from TDS (PHP or AP/PAP), then you should have gotten the DC discount on them.

Thank you to everyone for your replies. I went with the official Disney website as I am not near a Disney store. Cost was $204.48 after tax for the 4 day PH pass, shipping was $3.

AAA doesn't charge taxes or this is the cost before taxes? On the website (for AAA-KY) it shows $197.80 Adult $157.33 Children 4 day hoppers. Do these prices include tax? I'm not seeing a 5 day hopper on the website. Is this just offered by certain AAA areas?

AAA is like every other ticket wholesaler. The price quoted includes the Florida taxes in it. The assortment of actual tickets offered for sale through AAA as well as the selling price of those tickets varies from AAA office to another.

Neither the product line nor the selling prices are standardized at AAA. 4 day adult PH's run from a low of $196.35 to a high of $204 depending on what AAA office you have.

Did your friend tell you what the price was? They don't list it on their web site. I would think they should be reliable being such a big company. I wonder if you have to rent a car through them to get the discount.
