Ready Room / photos at GF

I am stopping at the Caribbean Beach Resort while in Florida for my wedding and hopefully having the complimentary wedding night at the Yacht Club.

What I am wanting to know has anyone had a ready room at the Grand Floridian just for the morning of their wedding so that they can get hair/make up done and get ready with their bridesmaids in a larger room than their hotel room? If so, do you have to pay for this and when is the earliest time you can put in a request?

Also, can you use GF for your pre-ceremony pics even if you're not staying there?

I actually spoke to my EM last night about exactly the same thing.

She said that they can't guarantee a room but that you have to ask at the GF reception on the day of your wedding to see if they have a room available and they charge you, they may note.

Our EM arranged a getting ready room for the groomsmen for the morning of the wedding at the Boardwalk, which was where we were staying. We were not charged for the use of the ballroom, but we were a custom, I don't know if the policy differs if you are an intimate.

Also we took pictures before the ceremony at the grand even though we weren't staying there. I just told my EM I wanted pictures at the Boardwalk and the Grand, and he took care of the scheduling so that could happen.
