Pooh, you have a Bichon?!! Me too! I grew up with one, and then my husband and I just got a puppy last year - Sam. Don't they just have the best personalities? They're always so happy and smiling! Sorry, just not many people I know even know what a Bichon is, much less have one!

GRAMMY!

So good to see you. The Riddler's were inquiring about your whereabouts yesterday or the day before, too.

I wrote a mini-trippie, with pictures. You should go look at the pictures.
Part One
Part Two
Part Three

Shameless begging here.

Hey Grammy, good to see you back, even if it is only for 4 hours.

SNAP - Very glad you are going to check in on us. This addiction is way too powerful to try to quit cold turkey. Or to quit at all, for that matter. Good to have you back.

I, on the other hand, am going to leave. For half a day that is. Taking some time to rest from the play. Every year, I say I am not doing this again, and then every year, I love it and do it again.

Hi, my name is Master Gracie and I have a problem with Masochism.

Oh, and I have a bodily fluid story for you.

During the course of this play, I get thrown to the ground. Now being the consummate actor that I am, I usually make sure I hit the ground pretty hard. Pratfalls are hilarious after all. Through practice and our first 3 performances, I have developed a strawberry on my right knee. This particular kind of strawberry, for those of you that don't know, is where the top layer of skin gets peeled off a particular body part, in this case my knee.

Any of you that has played baseball or softball will know what I mean. You get strawberries sliding into bases alot. So in an effort to avoid enlarging this wound, I placed a band-aid on it last night.

My razor sharp thinking here was that the band-aid would absorb the blow and I wouldn't lose any more skin...or the small scab that had developed on the strawberry.

The point in the play comes, I hit the ground, everyone laughs. At intermission, I exit the stage and check on my knee. The band-aid had been moved a bit, but everything seemed ok.

Until I removed the band-aid. And the blood started to run down my leg. Oh, it couldn't be labeled a gush or anything. I was in no danger of death, but it was a definite trickle.

Going to try a larger bandage this evening.

Wish me luck.

Hi Guys - a quick drive by

Mr. Painter Man is done in here but is doing the trim and doors. Big time funes. WWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I think I'm gonna have to leave for a bit.

SNAP - glad to see you haven't left totally. Hope things are going well, and do check in from time to time - we love to hear from you.

MG - OUCH! I hope the blood loss wasn't too drastic.

GA - finished your mini-TR. Loved, loved, loved the pic's. Can't wait to meet y'all next month. Hope your DH's knee is OK. You'll have to fill me in on the dog thread. I saw that a few days ago, but haven't been around.

Rhonda - Also finished your TR - but didn't post. I made some notes, so I'll post over there when I get a sec. But Excellent read. I really enjoyed it!

Grammy -

Sher - again  for the daily morning shout LY/MI

Everyone else: :grouphug: instead of a shout. Looks like you need it.

Amy - I am actually not suppossed to be on the computer :lmao:
Surprise, surprise.

I did read your T/R and loked at the pics which were lovely. If there is anything else I need to see someone needs to point me in that direction.

Horsey - Look for Fedex. That is why I am home. Silly, nilly ole bear didn't pack everything :teeth:

Good morning everybody. I hope you slept well. Whilst you slumbered, I was braving the elements and more on my trusty bike, in search of a Krispy Kreme.

The first obstacle I encountered:

While I was looking for someone with a boat to help me out, I encountered this fellow:

Luckily I was able to toss him some chicken nuggets from the bottom of my purse (don't ask) and make my escape.

At last I found some kind souls with a boat to help me across the river. It seemed like fate.

After I bid farewell to my new set of Viking buddies (I told them to stop by here, so don't be surprised) I had this ahead of me.

Hours later, after making myself dizzy on this treacherous road, I could see, in the distance ...

At Last! The Grrrrrail!

I gathered the sustenance for my friends back home on the DIS, and headed back. I knew I was looking at not having the coffee and donuts to you until probably dinnertime - TOMORROW the way things were going.

Thankfully, Horsey showed up
safety_helicopter_06.jpg

and brought me and the vittles back for you.

I couldn't remember what everyone wanted for coffee, and I was worried it would be cold before I got back, so I had Horsey swing down to Dunkins and I grabbed this.

Pass the cream and sugar!

Love you all. I'm glad there's so many of us that my turn to get the donuts will not come up again for awhile. I'm pooped.

Morning all. Busy. Busy. Busy. I don't like "busy". Unless I'm at Disney World.

We'll both be scarce today. Unfortunately. And Amy... he's no longer "on a trip". Not that kind, anyway. :rotfl2:

And tomorrow, we won't be on at all, cause we're going to see OUR Wendy. Yippee!! But we'll do a little mini-trippie. Geesh, you guys are gonna get tired of our stuff!

Okay, I'm out. Turning off the light, even. Cause I SERIOUSLY have work to do, and I may be working weird hours next week, if Wendy comes to stay with us for a couple of days, which is a definite possibility. No one send the helicopter, we'll check in again soon. I hope!

Someone PM us a recap if things get TOO interesting.

Later!

Minnie!!! SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Sheridac is just starting to calm down after her latest, um, "episode" of "Bubba Gump's Had No Shrimp". We don't need her going all crazy again. Edit!! Quick! EDITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

Morning all!

So remember my story yesterday about Jeremiah and the change? Well, he did put his money in the girls side and guess what? The boys won! Course all the get for winning is a piece of candy....guess what Jeremiah did with his candy? He brought it home for Ethan. All that fuss over not winning and when he does win, he gives his prize to his little brother. :teeth:

Well, I'll tell ya. We've been having the BEST weather. It's hotter than you know where and as humid as a sauna. But in the evening's it has been really cooling off, in the shade. And breezy even. We've been sitting out on the deck the last few nights. Can't believe we're outside in June!

Mel - I'm loving your TR! It is soooooo great! Just post your "ps's" here from now on so we can actually read them. 'kay? Because as we all know on the Maelstrom there is no such thing as WTMI.

Sid - Who are you and where did you come from anyway? I went away for 5 days and when I came back, here you were. :sunny:

I have a joke, but I'm going to post it seperately, you know to boost my post count. ;)

Yea. Thanks Kim. I saw that. And was trying to restrain myself.

So. Thanks. Thanks a lot. :teeth:

Dana, nice avatar. I am wondering about the tatoo....

Horsey,

The tatoo is a deal I made with my DD. She really wants to get one and I have debated about getting one for YEARS (too many to count). Anyway the deal is she keeps her grades above a C (we are in high school you know and the first two years are the worst) and I have to lose 100 lbs (don't ask) anyway we are both on course but we have to complete it before April of next year in order to be able to get our tattoos.

The next thing is that we wanted to get matching ones and since we are both Disney geeks (as well as POTC fans pirate: (I like Maelstrom too for that reason, her not so much) she thought that having a pirate tat with YoHo a Pirate's life for me on a ribbon going thru it would be cool. SO...... to make this rambling story a little longer I have been messing around with different patterns and my avatar is just one of the samples.

OMGosh. I just heard the STUPIDEST thing on Nick.

"Here's another helpful hint for cutting the cheese in class. Insert dryer sheets into your pants before school. Fart and smell the flowers. Mmmm nice."

Are you kidding me?

and now my joke.

In the hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where their family member lay gravely ill.

Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber.

"I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces.

"The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant.

It's an experimental procedure, very risky but it is the only hope.

Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the brain yourselves.."

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a great length of time, someone asked, "Well, how much does a brain cost?"

The doctor quickly responded, "$5,000 for a male brain, and $200 for a female brain."

The moment turned awkward. Men in the room tried not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked.

A man unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask,

"Why is the male brain so much more?"

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've actually been used."

I believe I was 11 and we went with 5 families, totalling 19 people!

We waited hours for any and all shows/attractions in mid 70's.
