UTM!!!

FLAGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last edited by brandt79 : Today at 09:55 AM. Reason: What'd you think of it, Sher? I thought it was much better than the pilot.
I did too, brandt. I think it will get even more so once the cast gets more comfy with each other - you know, when they start to really "read" each other.

Nothing gets past you, Sher!

OUCH! I'm gonna miss the public flaggings!

Grammy --- What do you do with boiled peanuts anyway, maybe I should be asking Tink. I saw a can of green boiled peanuts but thought what would you do with them so I didn't get them.

MSO to everyone!

Utah!!!!!! TAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haikudog: Well sir if you are in the fingerpainting mode, then I am most certainly in the eating the paint mode.... please keep up the haiku! We all need more poetry in our lives.

And check out my post count! Can I get a whohooty?
Aarrgh! on the post count. . .congrats to Uma on her tags, as well. I agree with needing poetry in our lives, which is why we should take notice of the stars, the moon, the shadows, the smiles, the playfulness, the unique and, yes, even the sad times (they help us appreciate the better ones). My thanks to you for your kind words. . .

And. The exceptions that prove the rule: specie(s), fancies(d), caffeine, codeine, weird, and a handful of others. . .;)

Since the Flag Faerie is everywhere I don't think there is such a thing as a flag-free zone. I suspect there will be an abundance of red on this thread in a couple of weeks ;)

Hi everyone! Up to my eyeballs writing grants this week, but I wanted to say the following:

Happy, safe, magical :wizard: , pixie dust-filled pixiedust: trips and meets :grouphug: to all the travelers

Welcome back to all the trip returnees

Belated/early birthday and anniversary wishes to all celebrating party:

Woo Hooty for all tags and significant page and post numbers :cool1:

Thanks for all of the wonderful pre-trip reports, completed trip reports, and ongoing trip report installments

Hooray Saints! Good luck to everyone’s teams (except maybe B’s)

Have a great day, week, & weekend!

Kathie, the anti-aunt Bea

Nab, I don't know what Canucks do with them but most people down here eat them

Wow....I have turned into a lurker.

Work is slowing down a bit for me...maybe I will be able to regain my plethora of posting prospects.

Alliteration...it's the word of the day.

By the by, I hope you all have a wonderful time at the meet, be sure to let us poor unfortunate souls that can not attend, know how it went.

I suppose that in your absence I can start fashioning another trip report.

I had debated doing one this time, but am leaning more towards it.

Last edited by NAB : Today at 09:53 AM. Reason: are you done with the second batch of fireman yet.....

They didn't show today!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know some had to work last night, so they must be still sleeping.

Do you want tired firemen?

If so, I'll send them right over.... :teeth:

Joe--we eat peanuts but they are not boiled at least I don't think they are. And why are they green. :confused3 . We prefer to shell them I guess.

NAB, honey, you are missing out. Important to remember: peanuts are not nuts. They are legumes. Beans, if you will. So... boiled peanuts taste (texture wise) like other boiled beans. Pinto beans. Black beans. Whatever. Only better. Good stuff. You shell them to eat them. Just like you do with roasted ones. But boiled is better. MmmmmMmmmm!!!

Oh, no!!! Altogether. On the Tropical Isle....uuummm...
9 plus friends and fam. I think. :teeth:

Can you tell I'm not much of a cook. Nothing fancy here, meat, potato, veggie. On a good day they are all in one pot. So when I hear about Tink's dinners and making her own stuff it is like WOW!!!

Plus I am not good with a knife so Hubby would prefer me to stay away from them. I can butcher a tomato for pete sakes. But the funny part of this is I used to work in a poultry plant deboning chickens with a very sharp knife for years. I guess I need a mesh glove at home so I don't cut off a finger. :rotfl:

PSA

Packing tip for anyone!!!!!!!

This may be an urban legend but I have it on good authority from someone who traveled to a foreign country this past summer, that this can happen.

Check the expiration dates on your credit cards!!!!!! Especially if you don't use sad cards often. Cause they EXPIRE and you need the new one, and you MUST activate from your home phone.

Over and out

Thanks Grammy. Strangely, one of mine does expire this month. I went to activate yesterday (here at work), and, there it was, bold as brass on the front of the card, that it MUST be activated from your HOME PHONE.

How does it know?

Will it matter that we have gone to whatever the fancy term is for getting phone through our cable?

We shall see. In a couple of minutes. At lunch.
