EBAY!!!!!!!!!!

Just an update for those interested....

1382 to go.

523 to catch Tink!

I have a couple friends who have quite a bit of Waterford, so I guess I have crystal envy! I have a single Waterford vase that I cherish because DD bought it for me (at my request and $) during her People to People Student Ambassadors trip to the UK and Ireland when she was in high school.

Lucky kid is far better traveled than I am. During her time off prior to grad school, she went to Italy for three weeks and brought me back a cool twisted green glass vase from Venice (her idea and $).

7 fruit bowls?

Sounds like you better get buying some fruit.

Luckily, we did not get one single repeat gift :)

That WAS lucky, Pongo! I think I had to exchange a couple crockpots, a toaster, and a portable camping toilet (EEWWW).

I guess someone should have told Sweet Sheri Whine that in order for me to do a sorta livish trip report that there has to actually be some pictures taken!!!!!

So do you just go in the woods?

So tell her, Lou. Don't you have her number?!!!!!!

Somebody must have it . . . TINK, WHERE ARE YOU?

Not even when I was young! State parks have pretty good rest rooms. But I stopped camping YEARS ago!

I don't do phones. :smooth:
No phones at all, Lou? ;)

I haven't done the phone thang with the Vikings to date, but I did get Horsey's number before she left, just in case!

I hate talking on the phone. Don't know why but I always have. Just another quirk I have. No blogs, no trip reports, no phones.....

I'm basically a freak.

Moo whats the story on the toliet. Was it on your registery :rotfl2:

I ate returning gifts, I just say ahhhhhh that's great and move on. My mom got me a rice cooker that is still in the box in the basement. Maybe I will turn into my grandma that has to many sweaters she doesn't wear because they are too nice good to wear and wreck :confused3

Is that anything like not using the good scissors?

why yes it is Lou....

My kids can not use my good scissors either. They can have the sticky one ones that don't cut paper....... :rotfl2:

actually Lou in the real world only the phones (and the wierd obsessions with clowns and stories ending with bags of peas) qualify in the Lou-is-a-freak category

but you can still contact Sheribaby by: telegraph, smoke signal, morse code, or my personal suggestion..... Semiphore Flags!!!!Semiphore Flag Alphabet

She is probably doing to much jumping, hugging, screaming, and drinking to take pics ;)

I don't do phones. :smooth:

So you are the only other guy in the world that doesn't have a cell phone? :teeth:

Uma~ You should go in Jan/Feb. The weather is cool in the mornings and evenings but warm during the days. You know there is a mini meet in Jan 07. Myself, Kimmie and Grammy will all be there the same week and Kimmie and I are both at the BCV's. Come on down. The flights are cheaper, the lines are non-existant and it's LOW season so the rooms are cheaper! The money you save will pay for the dining plan!

but Uma was totally working the free dining- they had 6 in one room at POR (Norah-No-No was under three), of which 3 are adults so the discount for free dining for them was like $140/day..... don't see many room discounts in that neighborhood...

however I like what you say about Jan/Feb.... :scratchin

Let's be clear....the people telling the bags of peas stories seem obessed with me. Not the other way around.

And Joe I do have a cell phone. A Treo as a matter of fact so I can do just about anything (including a phone call) with it. But if it wasn't for work I probably wouldn't have one. One of our friends who never carries hers with her recently summed it up best when asked why she doesn't carry her phone around. She said "I'm content talk to the people that are right within talking distance of wherever I am at the moment!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

For such a high tech guy I resisted having an answering machine for years. My reasoning? If I'm not there I can't talk to you anyway! :p
