Horsey: LOVE the littlest LaLa. SO cute. I would be in love too. Nothing ate it, right? Just keep Sleepydog away from her. I think he's lookin' for a lil' sumpm sumpm to go with those speckled butter beans for Sunday dinner.

I also had dreams of you guys last night. Actually, my pigfest at dinner inspired me to dream of the meet, and free dining. We were trying our best to meet up with the crew at either Boma or CG (not sure which), and Jay and I kept getting lost. There was just large amounts of wrongness happening on the pre-recipe food discussion. Just so you all know.

I had meetings all day yesterday. 2 hour drive, 6 hour meeting. 2 hour drive. 1 hour for supper and down time. 1 3/4 hour meeting with den leader. Got promoted from parent volunteer to co-den leader to possible solo den leader in one meeting. Show up to the meeting to have den leader say that our den was 13 boys. No way that would work.

Just for those who are interested:
This is a pitch recipe (just pitch in what you like)

Ole' Mole' Salsa

One can of diced tomatoes (I prefer mexican style Del Monte)
One can of green chiles
6 cloves of garlic, minced/grated
3 jalepenos (destemmed; seeded if you don't like the seeds)
1-3 habanero (destemmed; seeded and deribbed to tone down the heat a little
Salt (kosher preferred; about 3 pinches)
Pepper (fresh ground preferred; about 7 twists on the pepper grinder)
2 tbls Cocoa powder
Curry (about 1-2 tsp)
1 tsp Cinnamon

Throw all of it into a food processor and pulse it about 8-10 times. I turn it on and let it go for a time because I like my salsa pulverized.
