At the end of the day, I had taken TWENTY ONE transient requests for next week. I think (I wish) my fax machine is about to blow up. It was still spitting out records when I left.

Oh, I got my test results back. Put DOWN the needles, Grammy. I'm NOT pregnant. I am going for my ultrasound and CT scan on Wednesday. Can't wait.

I to would do things different if I got remarried. They have so much out there now. Mind you I would have to rob a bank to pay for it. Not so with ours we stayed on budget. I agree the day goes so fast. We stayed at ours until 2:00 am to party got to the hotel ( which hubby had all set up with flower etc) and the limo can and got us at 4:00. The door guy just looked at us like didn't you just go up there. So hubby teased all the way to the airport asking me if he paid me yet.

Posting from "the road" in sweltering North Carolina - helping DD move to the south for grad school when the temperature is 99 degrees is NOT a fastpass. <--- me after running around today to a whole bunch of different stores to help find stuff for DD's house, schlepping boxes, putting new shelving unit together, etc. Our truck started making an awful intermittent squealing noise under the hood a couple days ago. Prayers for the AC not to go out would be greatly appreciated. The dealership didn't quite know what to make of it when we stopped to have it looked at this afternoon.

We were soooooo happy to get back to our nice, cool hotel room this evening. On a more positive note, I now know how to hook up to wireless from a variety of locations, so as not to get too far behind.

Horsey- So sorry to hear about your Moo kitty. I sure hope your furbaby is on the mend. It was hard for us to leave our corgi at the kennel for the week in this heat.

Horsey - Lost my Bubba nearly three years ago, and there isn't a week goes by I don't miss him. But, the great memories salve the hurt. In the end, that's what we have, and I dwell on those not the inevitable ending. And if he's alive in my heart, then he's not really gone. . .happy thoughts to you.
