Dog - Hey, don't know if I have formally said Hi yet, so...

Hi.

I saw you mention earlier that there wasn't anybody here (wo)man enough to wax your legs...I think that was you, if not I apologize.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. They got me. And I'm 6'5" and 265...and I fight dirty too.

They come at you in a rush...it's all teeth and nails and high heels and stuff. Just when you get Chris under control, Pooh and Grammy and Tink jump you from the back side.

And I won't even go into the methods LaLa and GA and Pongo use....suffice it to say after 3 months of therapy, at least the nightmares are bearable.

Next thing you know, hairless legs.

On the positive side though, the waxing is the least painful part of the experience.

Of course, now that you have made me relive the whole ordeal, my therapy will have to start over at ground zero.

Maybe you could help with the bills.
Thanks for the welcome, MG. Always good to know there's someone to watch your six. However, to be fair, I believe it was berg who made that particular comment. Frankly, I'm scared of them. . .not physically speaking but these women are--dare I say it?--un loco en la cabesa. Therefore, I gave in last night and just shaved. I figured it would save me some pain and the cost of therapy of which your example is proof. . .we gotta save berg, though. . .

Did we EVER deny this???

NO!!!!! :teeth:

On the other hand, I'll do darn near anything for GOOD wine, not the 366 bottles of Franzia, Boone's Farm, and Two Buck Chuck that a certain scoob swills at will. . .

Good Morning 'Strommers !!!!

I'm watching Discovery land as I type this. Beautiful. Picture perfect landing. I would actually love to see something like that in person. It's probably awesome. Has anyone ever done that???

Never watched it, but the double sonic boom when its coming in scares the heck out of me. Had that this morning as I was reading the paper. Sounds like two cannons going off right in your street.
I can actually see the shuttle go off from my yard, but it's only a little red streak going up and not much to see when it's cloudy.

Ok guys...I gotta say something here...I found this new "beverage", cause I am a sucker for anything that is new and comes in a pretty package..
it's called PEELS....it's alcohol hiding as fruit juice. I have already had three. Blueberry Pomegranate, to be exact. It's super yummy. Me like lots.
I tried to find a picture but their website doesn't have pictures that I can put on here.

Ash...I am supposed to PM you right???

Yes, baby, PM me those Digits!

And yeah, Sher, DH is...let's see, a foot and almost-a-half taller than you!! But he's looking forward to meeting you nevertheless... :teeth: Wear your heels to dinner on Sunday night!!!

Oh, and how fitting that our #1 poster, and perpetual winner (at least in her own mind) got us to page 400!

Okay, I'm still on pg 400. Be back after I catch up!

Evening people, see we hit page 400 and I missed turning oh well I will put us back on page one. :wave2:

Ash!!

I know you got my back re: my beloved!!!!

And.

I almost NEVER go without heels!!! But, they aren't a foot and a half high!!!

And.

I believe I need a new little black dress. The one from June no longer fits! :teeth:

And.

You don't think I'm a winner????

Why did the last message posted at 9:21 show as 9:21? Did the Dis fix the time issue?

Okay, I'm out. Unless I get a 2nd wind, which is not likely. I have a wicked stomach ache and I'm nauseous. I think it's from the heat in the garage. (I was looking for my TR notes.)

I pulled a Zzub earlier and I have no idea why. I am going to take a bath and lay in the bed. :cold: I think I have fever.

Leg waxing has been postponed until tomorrow. Time TBA in the morning. Look for it around 9am CST. Enjoy your evening, Lato and Dog. :teeth:

Lay off Al, MG.

I quit running my posts through a spell checker since Chappie is never around anymore...

Which reminds me, if you spell check “Chappie” it thinks you want Chapeau which makes me think of the song...

hat,
in french chapeau,
in spanish its a sombrero

only that is not quiet it, so it drives me nuts...

New topic.

So. I have discovered an activity that I can do in Austin without feeling like I am as old as the hills. I swear the average age at any of the cool bars downtown is 19. Anyhow. Water aerobics. I felt like a spring chicken, I did. And a cardio workout is much nicer in a pool.

OH, You're a winner, alright!!!! :rotfl2:

And don't even talk to me about things not fitting anymore because they're too BIG! If something doesn't fit me anymore, that's NOT why! And, yes, this baby got PLENTY of "back". Always have had.

Haley, I think Jami does water aerobics, too. Sounds fun! And Frickles, I want to learn more about that vest. I need to get more weightbearing activities into my workouts. Aerobic has been all I've had time for lately.

Ashbaby....hop on over to this site http://www.thexvest.com/. We have girls who will wear it during kickboxing and we also do sit-ups and push-ups and such while wearing it.
I've done well with my diet today except for going by Sonic tonight and getting a creamslushfatteningthingamabobbie. Holy moly it was good!

Tink...girl I am so sorry you are feeling crummy. Hope you round the corner and feel like a champ again soon.
