Our ASMo booking is for four nights (original booking) plus one night (continung ressie). Total 5 nights.

Today I received in the mail a confirmation for my original booking. This confirmation was marked MODIFIED and the four nights had been changed to one. DON"T ASK ME HOW THIS HAPPENED. I called WDW immediately and they seemed quite flustered as to how this could have happened. But it had. They confirmed to me that my four night booking had been changed to one night!!!!!!!

It took quite a while, they spoke to guest services, etc etc, but the good news is they were able to change it back to what I had originally booked (and at the same rates).

I am so paranoid about this now, I will probably call every night to reconfirm.

Has something like this ever happened to anyone else, and if so how was it handled?

The ressie CM and the guest services CM very extremely decent/professional about it and fixed the error as quickly as they could.

It happened to me about a month ago. I added 1 night to my package and didnt touch my parents stay. For some reason I called back to confirm everything and they had me for 2 nights and lost my parents completely.

Took an hr and got everything straightened out. The CM I spoke to was EXTREMELY helpful. I was glad that I called to recheck everything but it was scary also.

I am still waiting on my final confirmation. We leave Xmas day so it should be here shortly. Hopeully everything is right. I am pretty confident that it will be.

Thank goodness you called back to re-confirm. I will probably call back every couple of days now to re-confirm. It was obvious from talking to the CM's that this doesn't happen very often. They could offer me no explantion whatsoever. They were so great about it though. I'm just glad that it is all straightened out.

I also have been scared by the written confirmations! I called to make a change in my ressie. Nothing was said about the deposit. I got two confirmations - one about the cancellation of the 1st ressie and notifying me that my deposit had been refunded; the second was requesting a deposit on my ressie (in the exact amount of the refund) within 10 days. When I called the CM said she didn't know why the deposit hadn't been transferred. If I hadn't read the confirmations, I would have thought my deposit had been transferreed and then my ressie would have been cancelled!

On another reservation, they charged me for two night's stay as a deposit instead of one. I decided to leave it on my credit card as a prepayment, but if I had been close to my credit card limit, that would have been bad news.

I'd get a new written confirmation. I wouldn't worry about calling that often. As long as you have that, I'd like to see them try and not fix anything that was screwed up when u got there.
