I've been reading on a few threads that some of us are having trouble getting things to credit. Most of us clear our cookies, temp files, etc, on a regular basis. I also run a clean up program throughout the day.

However, just to be safe, I did a search of my computer for "cookies". A folder came up that contained over 400 cookies! I'm just wondering why using the "delete cookies" button through IE doesn't delete these? Anyway, I manually deleted them, but perhaps this is why some of us have had problems getting credit for some of the offers?

So, do a search for cookies on your machine and make sure you've got them all!

I have installed a anti-spyware program (2 in fact). I run a scan several times a day to find hidden cookies. I have found that offers seem to be crediting for me much better since I started doing this :thumbsup2

BTW, I have been using AVG (www.grisoft.com) and Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com)

Thanks for the tips. I haven't had too much of a problem lately but since I'm on a work laptop most of the time i can't run my own software programs (ie spyware/antivirus) just the companies. I forgot about the hidden cookies though so I will run a quick search for those.

I run norton antivirus and ad-aware. Ad-aware didn't pick up these hidden ones either. My cleanup program catches some that ad-aware misses too but it also missed these. I did notice that quite a few of the cookies were from those 40/50 cent signup deals.
