We used the DDP last fall for the first time but didn't eat at CRT.... I did manage today to finally get ADR's for breakfast @ CRT and despite being on the DDP for August, the CM said they still charge it to my CC now.... how does that work? Do the charges get reimbursed at the time of the meal once we show up and use the 2TS per person??? My CC usually has a 0 balance (I try to pay it off each month) so if they credit it back, it'll be a negative balance (not that that'll be bad... but I think I'm just confused???) Can someone who has done this before just explain it to me so I don't look like a total moron? LOL! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

If you are on the DDP they shouldn't be changing you unless you want to pay OOP for the meal. I would call back and talk to another CM.

They take your CC number in case you are a no show.. as long as you show up and are on the DDP they dont charge it. They may do a temporary hold on the amount for like a day to make sure its a good card but thats not really a charge. I think thats what they did on mine last year.

As PPs mentioned, if you are on the DDP, your CC should not be charged unless you fail to show or cancel your ressie by the appropriate deadline (I think it's either 24 or 48 hrs for CRT).

BUT ... I recommend checking your CC now. We were on the DDP last fall & had lunch at CRT. When I made the ADR, the CM assured me that my CC would not be charged, but when I checked my CC balance later that week, it had been. I called back and explained again to another CM that I was on the DDP and that my CC shouldn't have been charged. She said I was correct and had the charges reversed. (My CC showed the credit within a week.)

I booked CRT too BEFORE I decided to use the DDP. The CM took my credit card information and charged the card. When I decided I wanted to add on the DDP, I called back, told them I had paid OOP for CRT and now I'm on the DDP, she told me they would credit the $152 back to my credit card (which could take 2 billing cycles) but still keep the number on file in case we didn't show up or didn't cancel within the 24 hours they allow.
