?? RE: Using RCI Points for last call vacation in August

2 Years ago we were able to stay in a 2 bedroom condo at Orange Lake for only 9,000 points. We booked 45 days in advance and received a last call vacation. We would really like to do this again, but since you can't book any sooner than 45 days ahead it's hard to plan and of course there are no guarantees there would be availibilty for Orlando etc. My question is what are our chances of being able to do this in August? Has anyone else done this or trying for this. Our last trip was October and I think it's less crowded then so there was more availibility. Anyone who has any insight into RCI Points I would really apppreciate it.

the 9000 point 45 day thingy was something they used to try and get us to buy into points....

we were able to get a nice resort 2 bedroom through extra vacation in september

if you can see extra vacations from your RCI points account, you can check availability there ( you do not have to use your points/weeks, it is just a cash basis but some are even better prices than Skyauction )
