Re-ride or ride redo?

A friend was telling me that there is a way to redo a ride if the ride malfunctioned during your ride. He said to go to a cast member when you get off the ride and ask for either a ride redo or a re-ride? Anyone familiar with this?

It can certainly happen (and has, many times.)
But, not a guarantee.

I was on TSMM in December and one of my games never loaded. I was just talking with the other party in the same car to see if it happened to them. A CM overheard, and offered to load us again. We did not even ask for it! Never even crossed my mind that this would have happened. I imagine it is on a case-by-case basis.

yes you can ask to re ride a ride if it breaks down but it is unto the CM to let you do this so going up to a CM and asking nicely really dose help.

most of the time if a ride breaks down and they have to let you off you will be given re ride ticket ( or what ever you want to call them)

if a ride goes down when you have a FP you will get an email about what you can do or you can go to the ride and the CM will tell you normally it is wait for the ride to open or you get these attraction to go on.

We were given a paper FP (actually good for various rides) when we were stuck on Jungle Cruise for 20 minutes. One of the boats ahead of us broke down and had to wait for a tow.

I was surprised to get the FP as we got to complete our experience (and got extra Skipper banter too!)... We actually did quite well out of Jungle Cruise as whilst we were waiting for weather to pass and the ride to reopen i spoke to a skipper who'd done my cruise earlier in the week, and who was awesome. We went over to tell him how awesome he was and to get a photo and he gave us paper FP as well!
