Re-releasing Little Mermaid?

I saw in a previous thread that someone mentioned they are re-releasing The Little Mermaid? Does anyone know when? Did I miss it?

It is releasing on Oct. 2. You can preorder it on disneyshopping.com and get the lithographs or pay a little more and get two beanies with it. Or at disney store you can preorder and get the lithographs and a 15% coupon to use in october. or you can get it just about anywhere after oct 2.

It is Oct. 3 according to the info I have from Disney Visa. I was just at the Disney Store yesterday and they are also doing pre-sales there. I don't know what additional is included in the DVD, it just says that it is a "2-Disc Platinum Edition."
